I've heard several male woodpeckers drumming and our resident male cardinals have been singing their hearts out for the past several mornings! We still have about 8 to 10 inches of snow on the ground here, but I noticed my tulips and iris's are up through the ground about 4 inches already, where the snow and ice have melted up next to the house on the south side. We've seen 2 Great Blue Heron's in the past week as well! Definitely signs of spring!!!
