A few weeks before, the students had dissected sample tulip bulbs. They drew what they saw and discussed similarities between seeds and noted differences as well. They were fascinated with the hair inside the tunic! We had a terrific time planting our bulbs. The day had to be rescheduled due to a thunderstorm on an earlier day. The weather was clear and the ground was not too soggy. Our parent volunteer had cleared our garden and it was beautiful. Several other parent volunteers were there to assist with the planting process. It was a chilly day but we were ready to start our tulip project!
