The robins chatter is what I notice first! I noticed them a few blocks from my home first, and then they were in my backyard on the 15th of Feb. They don't stay in one place for very long. I think it is because of the Hawks now in our area. We use to have one every now and then but now we see the hawks all the time. And today I heard them when visiting a friend about 7 - 8 blocks away. So they are still in our neighborhood of historic Springfield!!
