First day this month with steady rain, air temperature 40-42 F. Approximately 15 to 20 robins, dark red and wet, perched in the top of an oak tree. Took turns feeding on holly recently uncovered of snow, and searched clear patches of lawn. After 15 minutes, took to the tall pines north and west.
