Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 01/05/2011

Number: 1

We had 2 families of Eastern Bluebirds during Spring & Summer 2010. First mates had 6 babies and 2nd had 4. All stayed here all winter. We put mealworms and dried berries out in our feeder for them. They are very happy and we feel the same way to have them. We are on the lookout for hawks, due to the fact that a coopers hawk did get one of the babies last year. He scooped the baby up about 12 feet from us.
Looking forward to this yrs brood. They are a beautiful songbird, we enjoy having them around.
