Bushtits, chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, downy woodpeckers, flickers, fox sparrows, house finches, pine siskins, red-breasted nuthatches, song sparrows, spotted towhees, and wrens flitting through the garden. Anna's hummingbirds are buzzing me as I check out the golden crocuses blooming in the snow. The camellia, viburnum, and winter cherry and jasmine blossoms were hurt by the severe frost we just had, but new flowers are about to open. Daffodil, purple plum, and tulip buds still closed but swelling. Snow drops and blue violets unfazed by the cold.
