Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/18/2011

Number: 1

Robin song has filled the air for 9 days now. Large flocks (waves?) fly about and land in the madrone trees to eat the last of the berries. We live @ 1200 feet on a somewhat remote ridge. We have been here for 20 years and don't remember ever seeing this many robins at once. There could be as many as a thousand...at least 100's. We know the usual locals...mostly woodpeckers.
