We noticed 10 or so robins the first day we saw them, also on the second day. However we have been seeing large "thousands" of robins each day for about a week. They always arrive around 5 o'clock in the afternoon. It seems they are looking for a place to spend the night. Right now (2/27) our trees are full of robins and I can see many, many more in the surrounding area. I've never seen anything remotely like this before and am astounded by them. Is this normal, or is there any special reason for this?
