Bald Eagle Sighting 02/27/2011
On return trip to home from Sioux Falls, SD, spotted eagle standing in field. Positively identified as eagle when it took flight and flew up from field to sit in a tree.

Did not have high enough quality camera at time of sighting to capture image of bird perched in tree.

Good to know they're living near us. Have a haunch that this bird lives along the banks of the Big Sioux River just 2.5 miles east of the sighting location.
