Looks like the robins caught the trade winds and have mostly moved out of the Ormond area. Being south of my county yesterday shows me we will get some more before too long. Approximately 50% of the birds were singing by the time they left here. I am pretty sure the Great Backyard Birding Count will give you an idea of how many robins have been residing in our state, especially since they were in low numbers at the time we did Christmas Bird Counts. Would make an interesting comparison for one of the students. Definitely going to miss them when they are gone.
