February 28
We checked on our tulip bed and saw 27 of our tulips emerging. We saw the tips of some leaves. Some of the leaves were higher than others. They were light green with some red on the edges of the leaves. Some of the leaves were bundled up. We have had warm weather for the past week. We think this has something to do with the tulips coming up. We are going to have some rain this afternoon. We hope we will see more of our tulips emerge in the next week.

March 14
Today we went outside and measured our tulips. We noticed that some are bigger than others. Three of the tulips were just starting to come up. Most of our tulips had grown about 2 inches since March 2nd. We saw red coloring on the edges of the green leaves. We saw the stem on the inside of the leaves starting to come up. We don't have any flowers blooming yet.
