Tulips EMERGED

Date: 02/18/2011

Number: 1

The tulips, planted by Miss Flannigan's students, emerged on Friday, February 18, 2011. The leaves were tightly wrapped around each other forming a circle. The leaves were green on the outside and turning red in the center. They were about 2-3 inches tall. The ground was muddy because we had snow recently that is melting because the weather is warmer. We hope we see more tulips emerging as the temperature increases. Written by Paige Miller, JoAnn Hutcherson, and Jessica Revelle with help from Mrs. Buscher
