A male Rufous Hummingbird showed up at a feeder at a private residence in
lower Miller Canyon, Huachuca Mountains, Arizona, Feb. 22, 2011.

Here at our B&B, just south of Miller Canyon in th Huachucas, joining the 3
RUFOUS HUMMERS that have been here for 4 days, was a very bedraggled male
CALLIOPE, beating our earliest arrival date of Mar 21, by more than 3 weeks.
ANNA'S round out our yard hummers. Hope this weekend storm with low temps does
not drive these early arrivals away.
