All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 03/01/2011

Number: 1

I have been watching a House Sparrow pair since March of last year. They as a brood fought a lot in the early summer but then left here and returned late fall. They have calmed down the fighting in the fall. They survided the whole winter here. Their family is about 16 and all appear healthy. I noted three or four males but the rest are females. Some consider them pests but I enjoy the morning 'bleeps' so I feed them regularly. I am trying to name them by photo id.

Mr. Northern Cardinal stopped by for a nice photo session and the other birds have sure been announcing the coming spring.
