We live in Mahaska County, near Oskaloosa Iowa. We are 1 mile from the DesMoines River, below Red Rock Dam. It is common to see over 100 eagles feeding along the river between the bridges of Eveland and new G71 also known as 310th st. You can reach G71, 310th from Iowa highway 63 south of Oskaloosa, approximately 4 miles then turn right. Go 2 miles and look for eagles at bend in river north of bridge.
