I'm sure many of you own a squirrel proof feeder. The feeder I own is a green metal two sided feeder that has double sided latch for locking the lid down. To open the lid you have to pinch together the 2 metal latches lift top up wards, to close you let the lid down and the 2 metal latches automatically close. I went to put sunflower seed in the feeder I noticed fur inside the feeder to my surprise a squirrel must of opened the latches and got down inside the feeder and the lid came down and latched on him. Squirrel proof RIGHT! He's just lucky I check my feeders daily. Didn't seem to bother the birds they were landing on the perches grabbing seeds while the squirrel was trapped inside. When I opened the lid he wasted no time in getting out.
