We saw dandelions, pine cones that were no longer covered by snow, and patches of green grass (the snow has finally started to melt!).The sun was out. We saw baby buds. Pine cones were starting to open. It also started smelling like maple from the bushes and pine needles growing on the trees. Weeds are starting to grow in the cracks of the pavement. When we stepped on the ice in our playground we could hear it crack. We saw animal droppings. Geese are coming out. One student saw a bumblebee. There was moss. We saw a plant called lamb's ear. We saw pine trees emerging from the snow.
