Large wave of male and female robins descended in our back yard. They were clearly pulling earthworms out of the soil, as well as stripping holly berries. One or two blackbirds were with them and their activities resulted in a lot of attention from our year-round residents - chickadees, tufted titmice, downy woodpeckers, juncos.
