The first of March on the north end of Dubuque, Iowa in my parents back yard in which the Heritage Trail runs through, there's a berry tree which had around 175 - 200 robins on and around the base of the tree. As we were watching the robins on the limbs were knocking the berries off the branches and feeding the robins on the ground. They stayed until they had stripped the tree of all the berries. Two days later I was in Guttenberg,Iowa at a friends house and witnessed another sighting of 200+ on the empty lot adjacent to there house.
