March 2 - two small "V"s of Canada Geese flew up the Delaware River (which was mainly iced-over).

March 3 - first turkey vulture. I expect them about 3/7. This guy was early and alone. He landed in our garden, drawn by a rancid roast chicken we'd set in the compost.
