I pulled into a graveyard to put flowers on son's grave and opened car door, looked to my right and saw hundreds of robins in the adjacent field of grass. I just sat in amazement looking at them for a couple of minutes. Suddenly they all flew together (except for one) into a nearby woodsy tree area. I suspect there were approximately 800 to 1000 in the wave and had never seen a wave before so here I am. At my age, and having living all my life in same community, having never seeing such a huge wave of robins like this before,my interest has been sparked and I would love to continue satisfying my curiosity about this new experience. (By the way,I'm 62.)
