Rod and Joan Parrott of Port Hope, Ontario have arrived home and report that on Jan. 6th, 2011, a large wave of migrating red-winged blackbirds and grackles arrived in Punta Gorda, Florida, on that day only. They were in trees, on lawns, very noisy. They were concerned about getting "pooped" on! They described it as "amazing".
