We saw our first Male Robin in a tree near Mt. Calvary, WI yesterday and 3 Sandhill Cranes flying over. This morning we saw a flock of Male Robins in a crabapple tree across the street from us, in Manitowoc, WI My wife and I also took some pictures of a Male Pileated Woodpecker that had made 13 holes in a tree in a park a couple blocks from our home. This was the first Pileated I had ever seen. How exciting it was to watch him. I have kept a log book of the various birds and animals in our yard over the past 10-15 years including a Coyote, Red Fox, couger, racoon, possem, deer, gray fox, cooper hawks, Great Horned Owl, cardinals, and many other birds that we feed including Ruby throated Hummers.
