Good morning fellow bird watchers, It has been a while since my last observation. The weather has been uncooperative!Cold, cold and more cold!Have fed birds all winter. There have been few,I think they all went off to the deep wood to stay warm.Have not seen many spring birds yet, but at the feeder this morning were:Red-breasted woodpecker,white-breasted nuthatches, robin(I put out grape jelly),house sparrows, goldfinches, downey woodpeckers, and slate juncos(yes, their still here).Oh, also mourning doves and neighborhood free ranging chicken.I have put up a blue bird house.Hope to see them or tree swallows nest.
