I spotted my first hummer this morning about 9am. Temp. was about 50 degrees,with some wind. Male, red gorget, sipped a few times and left. I did not see him again today. I hope he visits my feeder again tomorrow. My first hummer last year was March 22nd. I kept my two feeders fresh all winter,for the first time, hoping to attract a Rufuos hummingbird. No luck, so I was thrilled to see a hummer this morning!
