Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/12/2011

Number: 1

At 6:00 pm took the dog out for a walk and heard very clearly robins starting their nightime ritual of treetop cackles, saw 2-3 in the treetops as we made our way down the street, continuing their conversations. They seemed to be saying it was a hard winter but yes we are back again! Also heard farther away what I think of as their bedtime song, the singing you hear when it is getting quite dark. First up and last to bed! However, this is the first year I saw a flock of robins fly over head several times a month during the entire winter. This is upstate ny and it will feel so good to "spring ahead" with the clocks this weekend, the robins are just in time!
