A male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was vigorously defending the porch feeder this morning from the resident ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS. Michelle (my daughter) may have seen one yesterday morning, but it was my first, today. This is 10-days later than average and over 2-weeks later than the recent 5-year trend.
