The tulip's leaves are red and green in color and rolled up tightly around the stems. Massachusetts and especially Franklin has had a very snowy January and February, but the weather is starting to warm up. We have a few days in the 50s then it seems to get cold again, dips down to the 30s. The sun feels warmer and our length of daylight is around 11 and a half hours. The daylight time has climbed up since December 2. That was the shortest daylight time for the year, about 9 hours. We are excited to notice buds on trees swelling and flowers starting to push up through a warming Earth here in New England.
