I found a dead monarch near my milkweeds this afternoon. The wing of the monarch was tagged with a 4 or lower case h. This is the first time since I started growing milkweeds for the monarchs that I have seen one tagged in this manner. The monarchs here have been very busy this spring and I have lots of catapillars on my plants some have went into their pupa stage.
