It has been a cold winter in Juneau and we continue the season with more snow predicted this week. Temperatures have climbed out of the teens and into the 20s so spring may happen yet. The longer days are nice - especially when we have blue sky. There have been a few reports of varied thrushes singing, and we usually do hear them just about mid-March.
