All Other Signs of Spring

Friday within 12 hours of the Japan earthquake my domesticated
ringneck doves (about the siz of robins)began to stay close to their roosts and show abnormal signs of anxiety and fear, including repeated attemps to land and remain on their human feed-provider's shoulder.
My mating pair is currently alternating shifts incubating two eggs and have also taken turns off the nest regularly contining this behavior. In fact, are becoming more human-oriented each day, which did not happen in previous incubations. I have heard that the effects of the tremors were felt world wide and small animals are sensitive.
But am not sure if this particular behavior is event-related, as this pair is just coming into what is considered mating maturity (2 yrs)although they have produced single thin-shelled non-surviving eggs in the past as immatures. Anyone out there shed light on this development or report behavior changes in pets this week?
