Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 03/15/2011

Number: 1

Our back yard has many large snow drifts. But surrounding the base of our large elm tree is a area that continues to get larger as the snow melts, and the water puddles. Looking out the kitchen window today at 4:30 in the afternoon gave us our first sighting of a robin taking a drink from the water. To us a true sign of spring. Within minutes there were two of them. Flying together up above the ground looking as though they were putting on an acrobatic show. It won't be too much longer before all of this snow is melted. A time where young fledglings will be hopping around the base of this big ole tree. Spring is finally near.
