After a cold winter, the 3rd grade students checked our garden and on Monday, March 14th, the tulips had bloomed. How lovely they were. We were very excited and marveled how the plants could grow and change so much just over a weekend! The air temperature was 12 degrees C and the ground probe read 10 degrees C. We will note how long the beautiful blooms last then, sometime in May, we will dig up the bulbs and see what changes occurred beneath the ground. Spring has arrived at St Matthew School!
