Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 03/15/2011

Number: 1

Every spring when the azaleas burst into bloom I can count on my Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds to appear. No matter that it happens every year, I always get excited. Right on time the azaleas are blooming and the hummingbirds are here. Although they are coming to the feeder some they are mostly feeding at the azalea blooms. The very first one I saw was yesterday, March 15, 2011, and he was a beautiful adult male.
