Ack!!! I have little piggies not Monarch Caterpillars. Current count is six big (about ready to move on) and one small and one super small caterpillars on the patio milkweed. They have almost eaten all of it. Have two big (about ready to move on), four medium on the front yard plant. I think I will be out of milkweed before the butterflies come. Bright side, all caterpillars have good clean markings and should make nice healthy butterflies. Moved a milkweed plant to the patio for easier viewing, but have decided to relocate the pot in fear of stepping on the "travelers" as they move along (has happened almost twice now).
