sitting by the fire while the sap bubbles just after 6pm...i heard the first red-wing of the season singing in the elm tree... the ponds are still frozen but there is run-off water on top. day time temps are about +4C and it's about -2C at night this week. nice day today- finally getting some sun! we are all tired of winter and ready to welcome spring.
