what a beautiful spring-like day! sitting by the fire while the maple sap bubbles away, I heard the cheery song of the robin- looked up- and there he was, sitting in one of the basswood trees behind the bunkie. the first robin on the farm this year. it's +7C today - and the sun feels so warm. the frost is starting to come out of the ground and all around the fire pit there's a sea of mud to walk through with our buckets and barrels! i think the robin was laughing at us! welcome back Robin!
