I think the tulips showed their green on St. Patty's Day. The ground was snow covered until a few days ago, so the emergence caught me by surprise. March 17th, if not the exact date, is within a day or so of emergence. I checked them for the first time today, March 18th. A few of the tulips looked like they emerged a day or two ago with leaves a couple of inches tall and slightly unfurled.
