We sighted an adult bald eagle on an ice floe in the north west corner of Beaver Dam Lake. We have a home on the lake and s/he was quite close to our shoreline, which forms a small bay. There were also bufflehead ducks and Canada geese in the bay.
We had seen both an adult (or adults) and an eaglet last fall fishing in our bay and this is most likely a member of the same family.
