Each morning my class has taken a walking filed trip around our school neighborhood to look for robins. We had heard them for three mornings in a row, but we still had not seen one. It had snown the night before, and it was a crisp morning. We hear him singing, and right before our eyes he took flight, turned and fkew back to a tree in our school garden! We also found a worm, saw and heard several chick-a-dees, and a flicker. Yea, spring.
