Tulips emerged sometime during the week of March 12 through 21. Students were on Spring Break so the exact date of emergence was not recorded. 10 bulbs have emerged from the soil and they range in height from 2 cm to 9.4 cm, mean height: 4.8 cm
Leaves are green with streaks of brown and purple. This has been a very dry winter, currently the top of the soil is dry, limited mulch covering the soil.
