Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 03/25/2011

Number: 1

I have seen a male hummer twice at the feeder this morning. I changed out the feeder as soon as I saw the first one so they could enjoy fresh nectar. I believe it is probably the same male but if has been about 4 weeks since I saw the last one, so that is exciting. Spring is coming. We saw the hummers at the feeder until sometime in January and have kept the food fresh and the light on 24/7 so the liquid wouldn't feeze all winter long. So they are still around. So exciting!!
