We located an occupied Bald Eagle nest at Middlefork Forest Preserve in a big tree right on a walking trail beside the river. I can mark the spot on a Park walking trails map. Will discuss the sighting and possiblity of trail closing, with the park superintentant Matt Koontz, as we have seen people hanging around this tree trying to get photographs and seen the eagles lift off and circle around in obvious distress and concern for their eggs/young in the nest.
