While observing from my living room window to a small tree next to the window where we have a Hummingbird feeder set up I witnessed a male Black-chinned Hummingbird perch on the feeder. It fed for a couple of minutes providing me excellent views from 5 feet away before it flew off. This is our FOS Black-chinned Hummingbird in our yard. The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve 1/2 mile east of our home has had a female Black-chinned Hummingbird for the past 2 weeks.
