Some of the smaller tulips had reddish or darker green leaves, and the bigger tulips were lighter green. The tulips planted in the location that was shadier were smaller, and the tulips planted in the sunnier location were taller. The tallest shady tulip was 8 cm. The tallest sunny tulip was 11 cm.
