Leaf-Out (Any Species)

Date: 03/29/2011

Number: 1

Lilac tree just starting to put buds on, Hostas are just starting to show spikes coming up. Last years mums starting to show some green around root ball. With daily temps only in the upper thirties and night temps in the twenties making a slow start for all budding out plants and trees to show signs that spring is really here. The normal highs are in the lower fifties and lower thirties at night. At least NO SNOW had our share of that this past season which was very beneficial for the ground water table.
