Our first grade class has been birding as part of our Family Science project. Students began reporting sightings of the American Robin in February, 2011, despite our below freezing temperatures. We see many more now that it's the end of March. We have seen muddy robins. They must be busy at work, preparing for their new families. I have also noticed the return of ospry. We are very excited to watch for them as we cross a local bridge.
