Wrote in my field journal that waves of robins are daily seen across the street from our picnic pavilion on a grassy bank in the sun near giant oak trees hopping around and making lots of noise. (Zee-ups!) Our class of 4th and 5th graders enjoys watching the robins each sunny day that it is warm enough to eat outside. We have seen a few worms too, but just on wet pavement after a rain last week.
