With the start of spring runoff, the ice on several lakes around Central Montana has lifted opening the water around the edge of the lake. At the Ponds 4 city blocks from our Junior High, the ice has been gone for three weeks. However, another winter storm warning is in effect today and tonight. Winter is not over yet.
