Date: 03/19/2011

Number: 1

Submitted by Don Davis:

Harvey Medland of Pickering, Ontario reports: On March 19, Margaret Kelch and I were birding the north shore of Lake Erie from Port Rowen to Port Dover and must have seen eighty Robins minimum. At Port Rowen we had the best wave of approx fifty. Plumage varied from scruffy to five with breasts that were darker than usual to the point that I described them as "dark rusty". All were active and feeding. We were there from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
